He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dumford and Wanda Spaeth Dumford; his former wife Linda Stegbauer Dumford; his daughter Susan Dumford; his brother David Dumford; and his nephews, Danny Allen and John Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Myers Dumford; his son Jason Dumford (Jordan) of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Abbi Yarber, Morgan, Riley Dumford of Wilmington, Mia and Rowen Dumford of Lynchburg; and his sisters, Lisa Johnson and Linda Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Davis-Turner Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
