It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony L. Dawes of Mount Orab, Ohio, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Anthony L. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anthony L. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Dawes and Shirley Dawes; his wife Patricia Dawes; and his stepdaughter Rhonda Connor. He is survived by: his son Josh Dawes-Smallwood (Jordynn) of Sardinia, Ohio; his stepson-in-law Derrick Connor of Fayetteville, Ohio; his stepson Brian Tunks (Marsha) of West Union; his grandchildren, Colin, Christian Connor of Fayetteville, Jasmine, Emily and Dakota Tunks of West Union, Ohio; and his siblings, Tammie Ogle of Hamersville and Terry Dawes of Bethel, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
