He was predeceased by: his wife Julia J. Gilene Agnew; his daughter Ann Weber (Randy); his parents, James Agnew and Ruth Agnew (Maringer); and his sister Corinne Keller.

He is survived by: his children, Patty Batson (Greg), Mark Agnew (Cheri) and Greg Agnew; his grandchildren, Amy Roetting (Robert), Daniel Weber, Emily Schreiber (Jason), Sandy Allen (Terry), Alison Dickerson (Scott), Steven Batson (Esther), Mark Weber (Kristi), Brian Batson and Rachel Agnew; his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Christian (Lexi), Anthony, Rose, David, Jaxon, Daniel, Maiya, Haylee, Mia, Aiden, Lincoln of Madison, TJ, Eli, Bobby, Brayen, Luke, Gabrielle and Sadie; his great great grandchildren, Brantley, Lily and Zayn; and his siblings, Sylvia Huelsman, James and Robert Agnew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to St. Margaret Mary Church.
