He was predeceased by: his son James DuChemin Jr. (Dena). He is survived by: his wife Barbara DuChemin; and his children, Michele Hirsch (Steve), Laura DuChemin, Karen Dayton (Charles), Carla Gawley (Christopher), Timothy Jackson (Katia) and Douglas Jackson (Danielle). He is also survived by his twenty-one grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
