She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Vehr, Jr.; her sister Alice Mae Stewart; and her parents, Otto Eugene and Selma M. Steinbrecher (Schaaf). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Warren (Patrick), Norman Vehr (Denise), Timothy Vehr (Pamela) and Jeffrey Vehr; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Amy, Benjamin Warren, Jessica, Alison Vehr, Tammie Angel, Shannon, Christopher Vehr (Shayna) and Katie Vehr-Shatzer (Alex). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
