He was predeceased by: his son John Atkinson. He is survived by: his children, Christine McMichael (Jim), Steve Atkinson (Beverly), Rhonda Toth (Mike), Danny Atkinson and Artie Atkinson (Crystal); and his stepdaughters, Kathy Cobble, Mary Beth Chotkowski (Chet) and Pam Burdick (Jeff). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
