He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Deskins and Iness O. Deskins (Honaker); his children, Bryon Deskins and Tonya Deskins; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Deskins and Ashton Robson; and his siblings, John Deskins Jr. and Carolyn Rinehart.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Deskins of Delaware and Sarah Robson (John) of Mount Gilead; his siblings, Barbara Smith, George Deskins (Joyce) of Plain City and James White of Marengo; his half-sister Teresa Gillespie of Washington; the mother of his children Barbara Deskins; and his close friend Judy Wolford. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
