He is survived by: his friend Diane Cagnon; his sons, John Dowalter (Gayle) of Fredericktown and Jeremy Dowalter (Whitney) of Mount Gilead; his grandchildren, Jarrod Dowalter (Kristen), Marissa Miracle (Anthony), Ethan Dowalter, Blake Wilcox (Justin), Izabella Bilderback, Mikayla McLeod (Dustin), Atlee Dowalter and Penelope Dowalter; his brother Gary Dowalter; his half-sister Sue Pritchard; his former wife Diana Everett; and also Mary Lou Dowalter.
