It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Thompson of Mount Gilead, Ohio, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Thompson and Cecilia Bernice Thompson (Ward); his children, Bambi Lynn Fout, Tonya Elaine Thompson and Robin J. Thompson Taylor (Leana) of North Woodbury; and his siblings, Lowell, Paul, James, Arnold Thompson, Aliene Knight Brown, Hester Mosley-Shultz, Marie Price, Irene Garner, Lanola High, Joan Cook and Melanie Stayner.
