He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Porter and Clara Porter (Meeker); his brother Richard; and his son-in-law Brian Crawford. He is survived by: his siblings, June Barkett (Dick), Sharon Weir (Kevin) and Patrick Porter (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Rita Porter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel (67 N Main St, Mt Gilead, OH 43338). A masonic service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
