He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Dewey C. Montgomery and Esther Montgomery (Asbury); his siblings, Christopher, Rev. Dewey Montgomery and Gladys Hitchcox; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Canaan, Kason Weaver, AnneMarie and Autumn Helton.
He is survived by: his sister Pauline Daniels of Mt. Gilead; his sisters-in-law, Mary Montgomery of Cardington and Becky Montgomery of Cardington; his son Spencer Hartsock of Hilliard; his niece Heather Turner; and his nephew Anthony Montgomery. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
