It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Paul Montgomery of Mount Gilead, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reverend Dewey C. Montgomery and Esther Montgomery (Asbury); his siblings, Christopher, Rev. Dewey Montgomery and Gladys Hitchcox; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Canaan, Kason Weaver, AnneMarie and Autumn Helton.
He is survived by : his sister Pauline Daniels of Mt. Gilead; his sisters-in-law, Mary Montgomery of Cardington and Becky Montgomery of Cardington; his son Spencer Hartsock of Hilliard; his niece Heather Turner; and his nephew Anthony Montgomery. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
