She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart "Stew" Brownfield and Mary Brownfield (Giesey); her husband Charles H. "Charlie" Keenan; and her sister Patricia Brownfield Daniels. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Keenan-Staley, Pamela Beardsley (Jerry), Bradley Keenan (Bonnie), Molly Lee (Mark) and Harvey Keenan (Aimee). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Rather than flowers, memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
