He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry William Arnold Sr. and Bertha D. Arnold (Amick); his sisters, Betty Jo Goff and Helen Young; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Riggs and Paul Bailey.

He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Parthemore; his children, Carol Jo Nelson (James) of Mount Gilead, William Arnold (Tressa) of Mount Gilead and Janelle Rudolph of Mount Gilead; his grandchildren, Andrea Stout (Gary), Curtis Nelson (Lindsay), Caylor May (Jacob), Cambry Arnold (Shane Hershiser), Nolan Rudolph (Yuyu Li), Breydon Rudolph and Haldon Rudolph; and his sisters, Jane Riggs and Patsy Gildersleeve (Alfred) of Crestline.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harry's name may be made to Rivercliff Cemetery to assist with headstone restoration.
