He is survived by: his wife Pauline Rathburn of Mount Gilead; his children, Bonnie Waldbauer of Galion, Jill NcNeil of Galion, Richard Matson (Nancy) of London, OH, Steven Matson (Vickie) of Mount Gilead, Bruce Matson (Cathy) of Mount Gilead and Joseph Matson (Sheryl) of Mount Gilead; and his siblings, Joan Travis of Delaware and Charles "Bob" Matson of Mount Vernon.
