She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hammond and Eva Hammond (Reese); and her siblings, Helen Higgins, Paul Hammond, Geraldine Whipple, Melvin Hammond and Carolyn Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Daten L. Barnett of Mount Gilead; her children, Teresa Shipman of Mount Gilead, Dale Barnett (Martha) of Mount Gilead and Brian Barnett (Melissa) of Mount Gilead; and her grandchildren, Perry Barnett (Cheyenne), Jerrod Shipman, Brayden Barnett (Amber), Peyton Barnett, Tyler Shipman and Jonah Barnett.
