He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Charles Bowersmith and Helen Lucelle Henry (Sherman); his sons, Ernest Lee Bowersmith and John Eugene Bowersmith; and his brother Dale A. Bowersmith.
He is survived by: his partner Avonell Hayhurst; his children, Ricky Dale Bowersmith (Diane), Connie Jean Bell and Patti Coleman; and his brothers, Danny Young (Laura) and Jack Young. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes of Mount Gilead (67 N Main St, Mt Gilead, OH 43338).
