With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer E. Varner of Mount Gilead, Ohio, born in Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Susie Varner and Swihart; his children, Tammy Morningstar (Bob) of Mount Vernon, Bob Varner (Missy) of Mount Gilead and Lisa Watson of Mount Gilead; his grandchildren, Chad Varner, Erik Morningstar, Brandon Morningstar (My), Levi Varner (Ashley), Emily Varner and Austin Watson; his former wife Karen Varner; his pet Cujo; his son Scott White; and his siblings, Catherine Varner, Margaret Stiltner, Martha Mowery and Clarence Varner.
