He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Phillips and Elsie Phillips (Forrester); his wife Charlotte Albright Phillips; his son Todd Phillips; and his brothers, Richard Phillips and Wayne Phillips.

He is survived by: his son Scott Phillips; his grandchildren, Lindsay Bryant (Cristian), Kylie Corey (Nick), Rhett Phillips and Josh Phillips; his great grandchildren, Aiden Corey, Kolton Corey, Kelcie Corey, Declan Bryant and Emilee Phillips; and his siblings, Bill Phillips, Hal Phillips and Wilma McQuistion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
