He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Higgins and Eloise Higgins (Cantwell); his brother Floyd "Tommy" Higgins; and his brother-in-law Glen Rhoads. He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Higgins (Marcia) of Mount Gilead, Ruth Ann Mast (Kenneth) of Galion, Barbara "Bobbie" Rhoads of Marion and Deborah Higgins of Cardington; and his caregiver Janet Parker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
