Charles N. Hudgel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles N. Hudgel of Mount Gilead, Ohio, born in Waynesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hudgel and Evelyn Hudgel (Neeley); his former wife Juanita Hudgel (Van Hoose); his siblings, Gerald Lee Wilson, Loretta Jean Conley and Phyllis Yvonne Stillings; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Hudgel; and his stepgrandson John Ogle.
He is survived by: his wife Bev Hudgel (Westbrook); his children, Julie Cherrington of Mount Gilead, Charles Richard Hudgel of Mount Gilead and Debbie Stephens of Greenville, PA; his grandchildren, Gary Hackworth, Charles "Rick" Hudgel II (Jill), Amie Hudgel, Joshua Stephens and Brandon Stephens; his great grandchildren, Laney Hackworth, Judah Hudgel, Lilah Hudgel, Caleb Cremeans, Keeghan Hudgel, Lexy Stephens, Colton Stephens and Trinity Stephens; his stepdaughter Lori McGee; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor McGee (Duncan McLeod), Jessica McGee and Hidie Ogle; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bill, Axel and River McLeod; and his brother Thomas Richard Hudgel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel (67 N Main St, Mt Gilead, OH 43338). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
