She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Pearl and Bertha M. Pearl (Rice); her spouse Val Bailey; her son Larry Persinger; her sister Shirley Bachelder; her sister-in-law Marlene Pearl; and her great grandchild Nicole Persinger.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Fran Persinger of Mount Gilead; her brother Gene Pearl of Fulton; her grandchildren, Sherry Bret Bland, Lori Jeffery of Mount Gilead, Larry Persinger Jr. (Ginger) of Mount Gilead and Tammy Sellers (Kris) of Edison; and her great grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittany, Megan, Tyler, Casey, Andrew, Corey, Breanna, Sarah, Ashley, Billy, Zac, Hunter, Makayla, Sam, Owen and Aryana. She is also survived by nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
