He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dean; and his children, Marie Grimmett (Bo), Tina Howell (Brian), Blue Rock, Scott Mercer, Whitehall and Jennifer Barber (Dennis). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
