He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. Lottes and Eleanor Lottes (Campbell); his grandson Aaron Lottes; and his daughter Eleanor Koernor. He is survived by: his close friend Melissa "Missy" Irwin of Mount Eaton; and his sons, Mark Lottes (Monica) of Semora, NC, Greg Lottes (Jan) of Moneta, VA and Jeff Lottes (Terri) of Fond. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
