She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. and Pearl J. Shifferly (Shammo); and her brother Dale Shifferly. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Johnson (Jane) of Navarre and Julie Miller (Roger) of Mount Eaton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stanwood Community Church.
