He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Keeler and Dorothy Keeler (Smith); his wife Laura M. Heldman; his children, Brent Keeler and Brenda Keeler; and his daughter-in-law Debra Keeler.

He is survived by: his sons, William A. Keeler of Rawson, Ohio and Brian K. Keeler of Bluffton, Ohio; and his brother James L. Keeler (Mary) of Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
