He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Zuercher and Martha Zuercher (Wolfe); his wife Nelda Zuercher (Clymer); and his grandson Jacob Zuercher. He is survived by: his sons, Eric "Rick" Zuercher (Toni) of Mt. Cory and Robert "Rob" Zuercher (Teresa) of Jenera; his grandsons, Nathan Zuercher (Olivia) of Jenera and Brandon Zuercher of Jenera; his sisters, Carol Wynkoop (Lynn) of Amherst and Sally Borer (Jerry) of Lorain; his sister-in-law Trena Moyer (Gerald) of Mt. Cory; and also Marlene Clymer of Arlington.
