She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Deer and Esta Deer (Edwards); her husband Gerald Shumway; and her brother Donald Deer. She is survived by: her children, Steve Shumway (Barb) of Stow, Andrew Shumway (Mary Ruth) of Chagrin Falls and Jonna Shumway of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio.. She is also survived by Four grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed towards the Hancock County Humane Society.
