He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Edward and Grace Viola Dewhirst (Jacobs); his stepmother Sybil Belle Fudge Dewhirst (Short); his sister Merry Wieland (Robert M.); his nephew Chris Wieland (Heather); his great-nephews, Jack and Luke Wieland; his nephew John Wieland; his stepsiblings, Edward, Henry, Robert, Benjamin, Paul and Nancy Fudge; and his goddaughter Summer Martinez-Wheeler.
