He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Halbert and Geneive Ieone Smith; and the mother of his children Linda Joy Powell. He is survived by: his children, Kirk Matthew Smith (Paula) and Joy Lynn Smith; his grandchildren, Daniel Lobaugh, Christopher Lobaugh, Hazel Smith and Fischer Smith; and also Lisa Marie.
