He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Julia; and his brothers, Joseph and Carl Berger. He is survived by: his wife Betty Rae; his daughter Jodee Ann Seibert (William Scott) of Morrow; his siblings, Harold Berger of Arizona and Ruth Lewis of Loveland; and his grandson William Richard Casee Seibert (Casondra Kleven).

Memorial donations requested to the Kentucky Mountain Mission, 150 Youth Haven Road, Beattysville, KY 41311.
