She is survived by: her daughter Ronda; her son-in-law Paul Ponchot; her grandchildren, Jill (Jonathan), Chris (Grace) and Kayla; her son David; her daughter-in-law Amy Whisman; her grandchildren, Michael (Abi), Megan, Joshua (Reagan), Rachel, Susan, Jane Ponchot, Ronnie and Sam Whisman; and her siblings, Ruth Ashby (Bobby), Shirleen Vaughan, Joe Varner (Irma), Anthony Varner (Sharon), Mike Varner (Donna) and Frances Perdue (Lester). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her diagnosis of Parkinson's disease in 2018 marked the beginning of yet another adventure; Margaret moved to New Jersey to be with Ronda and David and their families.
