He is survived by: his wife Lillie Bell Howard Lyon; his sons, Jeffery Lyon (Teresa) and Stanley Lyon (Joanna); his sister Lucille Damron; his grandchildren, Jamie Lyon, Amberly Lyon Davilla (Joe), Darren Woodruff (Kristie), Stan Lyon, Jr. (Randi) and Jacob Lyon (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Dylan Woodruff (Holly), Tucker Davilla, Hunter Woodruff, Addison Lyon, Jase Lyon, Beau Lyon, Alice Lyon, Elliott Lawson, Sadie Lyon, Wayatt Lyon and Bennett Lyon.
