He was predeceased by: his wife Harriette; and his siblings, Woodrow, Jonas, Pearl and Lou.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Scruggs (Becky) of Mason, Karen Mobley (Bob) of Blanchester and Joy Potzick (Chris) of Morrow; and his grandchildren, Daniel Scruggs, Michael Scruggs (Kimberly), Alison Holbrook (Adam), Bryan Mobley (Renee), Erica Potzick, Sarah Cook and Kayla Wolf (Travis). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
