Rodney Burns Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Burns of Morral, Ohio, born in Delaware, Ohio, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Burns and Jeannette Burns (Ward); his brother Larry Burns; and his brother-in-law Bud Smith. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Burns (Smith) of Morral; his children, Jason Burns (Angela) of Morral and Rachel Burns Outcalt of Morral; his grandchildren, Zachary Burns (Loren), Samantha Burns, Michael Burns, Briana Outcalt and Abriella Cross; his siblings, Duane Burns of Galion, Karen Mosbarger of Marion, Sharon Burns of Harpster and Ed; his sisters-in-law, Tina Smith of Galion and Mary Smith; and his close friends, Judy, Phil Walters and Darla Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Rodney will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, where social distancing will be observed.
