He was predeceased by: his parents, William McClain and Vivian McClain (Marques); his siblings, Sam, Norman, Alan Ray, Billy Gene McClain and Mary Lou Newman; and his children, Kathy Lynn, Kenny and Terry McClain.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Gary, Jr. and William McClain; his sisters-in-law, Esther McClain and Mary Lou Geisel; his grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Mikayla and Lilly McClain; and his close friends, Terry, Cindy Collins and Earl Mumma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
