He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas D. Garth and Lucy Garth Parker (James). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Garth, Jr. (Nancy), Dwight Garth (late Linda) and Wilma Owmby (Joseph); and his close friend Barbara Rutledge. He is also survived by grandchildren, (9) great grandchildren.
