He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl George and Esther; his wife Barbara Reid; his siblings, Raymond, Allen and Betty; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Taylor and Wayne Stafford.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Reid, III (Julia) of Virginia Beach, VA, Richard Reid (Tracy) of Claridon Twp, Steven Reid of Summit, IL and Lois Reid of Waldorf, MD; and his siblings, John, Louis (Anna), William (Sheena), Don (Theresa), Barbara Cardaman (Tony), Dorothy Stafford and Ruth Lundstrom (Sonny). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
