He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Gipple and Thelma Gipple (Weldy); and his siblings, Vesta Bowen, Shirley Gipple, Linda Gipple, Ronald, Ora, Jr. and Calvin Gipple.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen "Sue" Bechtol; his children, Tammy DiPasquale (Steve) of Angola, Bonnie Fielding (Troy) of Auburn, Indiana, William Edward Gipple, Jr. of Bryan and Jeffrey Gipple of Williams Center, Ohio; and his siblings, Veronica Yoder (Lavern) of Hicksville, Ohio, Donna Wasson (Jim) of Hicksville, Ohio, Mary Waters (Rich) of Hicksville, Ohio, Patsy Gipple of Hicksville, Ohio, Donald Gipple (Becky) of Toledo and Dennis Gipple (Carolyn) of Hicksville.

Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, social distancing precautions will be observed and the family encourages the use of masks in accordance with state mandates.
