He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay O. Hillard and Ina B. Hillard (Holt); and his sister Genevieve Youse. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hillard (Rundell); his children, Cynthia Suleiman (Anver), Connie Shoup (Greg), Stacie Moore (Chuck) and Steve Hillard; and his grandchildren, Shane Hillard (Marianne), Kyle Hillard (Melody), Travis Shoup (Sarah), Brandon Shoup (Erika), Anny Gardner (Tim), Ashley Waterson (John), Alysia Miller (Seth) and Briton Moore (Brooke). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made in Dudley's memory to St. Paul's Methodist Church or CHP Hospice.
