She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Wentz (Rod Ely) and Loyal Bernath; her sister Shannon; and her nephews, Brandin and Damien.

She is survived by: her significant other Rhonda Jo Bailey; her daughters, Torrey Dohner (Jason) and Tiffany Ann Bernath (Shawn Ward); her stepchildren, Austin Bailey (Erin) and Andie Hill (Tim); her grandchildren, Jarron, Koner, Joel, Tayla, Brooklyn, Chase, Bailyn, Charlotte and Jensen; her siblings, Steve, Ronnie, Julie, Penny and Debbie; and her pet Gracie Mae.
