He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardis K. Rozell (Hand) and Leon C. Rozell; his wife Marlene F. Stotz; his former wife Carol M. Broadway-Fletcher; his sister Marilyn Covell; his brothers-in-law, Al Covell and Larry Brown; and his son-in-law James Jerger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Kirk (Thomas) of Defiance and Denise Muehlfeld (Phil) of Montpelier; his grandchildren, Jay Jerger (Mandy), Alyssia McDowell (Brian), Joel Jerger (Casey) and Aaron Kirk; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Josslyn Jerger, Maci, Brock McDowell, Dawson, Whitney Jerger, Max and Lyla Kirk; his sisters-in-law, Dianne Wyrick (Edwin), Terry Brown and Dorothy Lersch; and his nieces and nephews, Larry Stotz (Mitch), Lori Bernath (Doug), Max Stotz (Karen) and Monty Stotz (Christie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made in Roy's memory to the Village of Montpelier Tree Commission or the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
