He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Leslie and Ethel M. Brown (Lanum); his wife Maxine Somers; his granddaughter Bobbie Shaffer; and his siblings, James Max, William, Ronald Brown, Maureen Brown and Doris Dilworth.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jan Garber, Jr. (Barb) of Bryan, Clint Garber (Margaret) of Greenwich and Tim Garber (Tricia) of Graham, Washington. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
