It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Poorman of Montpelier, Ohio, born in Morenci, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Poorman and Jeannette Poorman (Eby); and his sister Mildred Rupp. He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Elson of Montpelier; his children, Michelle "Shelly" Calendine (Tracy Kelly) of Bunker Hill and Chad Poorman (Hope Norrick) of Montpelier; his son-in-law Alan Calendine of Peru, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jordan Calendine, Brennon Poorman and Kayla Poorman; and his sisters, V. Eileen Broadwater of Montpelier and Betty Nicholls of Montgomery, Michigan.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Per the Governors orders, those wishing to attend services should wear a mask and follow the recommended social distancing guidelines.
