Richard Lavon Apt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lavon Apt of Montpelier, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. J. Apt and Ila Apt (Winzler); his wife Barbara Ireland; and his siblings, Donald Apt and Shirley Brandeberry.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Moor (Duane) of Montpelier and Alan Apt (Becky) of Montpelier; his grandchildren, Douglas Moor (Michelle), Laurie Caudill (Brian), Aaron Apt, Aundrea Gamboe (Tom) and Thane Apt (Kasey); his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Ashley Caudill, Abbigail Mason (Matt), Gwendolyn, Ethan Moor, Benjamin, Alaina, Ramsey Gamboe, Brentley, Tinley and Addaley Apt; his brother Charles Apt; and his pet Lorna.
Donations may be made to the Montpelier Senior Center or Montpelier American Legion Post 109 or Williams County Humane Society.
