He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. and Gretchen. He is survived by: his wife Chris of Montpelier; his sons, Keaton S. Byers of Montpelier and Chandler L. Byers of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and his brother Ric Byers (Cindi) of Montpelier. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice of Whitehouse, Ohio.
