He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl H. Snyder and Beatrice L. Snyder (Drake); his son Mark Snyder; his brother Dan Snyder; and his stepsons, Ed and Bob Steinke.
He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Snyder; his children, Barb Hummel (Rich), Greg Snyder (Becki), Stan Snyder and Julia Dixon (Matt); and his stepchildren, Ron Steinke (Joni) and Debra Dye (Al). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
