He is survived by: his children, Meriah Custer (Alex) of Santa Ana, CA, Nathan Custer (Andrea) of New Braunfels, TX, Jesse Custer of Montpelier and Elijah Custer (Emily) of Bryan; his grandson Jackson; his friend Ruth Owens; and his pet Diesel.
