He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilary Humpert and Virginia D. Humpert (Gable); and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Luzius and Donald Swiatkowski. He is survived by: his significant other Christine M. Alwood of Montpelier; his significant other's children, Jessica Wheeler (Bob) of South Bend, Jaylynn Alwood (Patric Gearhart) of Edon and Jacob Alwood (Casey) of Auburn, Indiana; and his sisters, Sharon Luzius of Toledo, Carol Swiatkowski of Montpelier, Betty Swaninger (Jake) of Perrysburg, Jill Piercy (Fred), Jackie McCoy (David) of Greensboro and Vicki Humpert of Sylvania. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donation in Kim's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
