He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Earl Orwig Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Roberta Orwig (Paris); his wife Peggy (Comer); his children, Joseph Orwig III of Toledo and Tammy Zalick (Scott) of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Isabella, Robert Orwig, Ryan, Zachary and Kyle Zalick; and his siblings, David Orwig and Mary Passino (Mike).
