He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jay and Frances Lucille Kreischer, Sr. (Smith); and his wife Linda Lou Hazlet. He is survived by: his children, John "Jay" Kreischer, III of Bryan, Rhonda J. Bailey of Montpelier and Ryan Bagley; his siblings, Carroll Kreischer (Patricia) of Montpelier, Darlene Haynes of Montpelier and Patti Oyer (Mickey) of Montpelier; his close friend Paula Anderson; and his pet Esther Starr. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Williams County Humane Society.
